The Boyd Cultural Arts Center on the campus of Wilmington College will host the inaugural #EdCampDubC.  This beautiful facility offers an auditorium for opening and closing general sessions, classrooms for breakout sessions, and opportunities for self-directed learning in the atrium and art gallery.

The Boyd Cultural Arts Center is “a $7.6 million facility completed in 2005, is named for Oscar F. Boyd, class of 1911, a Wilmington College chemistry professor for more than 50 years.  The Center features the David and June Harcum Art Gallery, 440-seat Hugh G. Heiland Theatre and the Meriam R. Hare Quaker Heritage Center and T. Canby Jones Meetinghouse.” – Wilmington.edu

The Wilmington College location offers a wonderful opportunity for veteran teachers to join with pre-service teachers in its education program for this edCamp.  Wilmington is a private, not-for-profit college offering education programs to prepare candidates for licensure in Early Childhood, Middle Childhood, Adolescence to Young Adult, Multi-Age, Special Education, or Vocational Agriculture.
